Shadowrun Alias: The Shadowblade
Young, brash son of one of the lesser Princes of Tir Taingire. Always one step ahead of trouble, usually of the fairer sex – but quickly proved skilled enough at magics and blade that he was inducted into training first by the Paladins of the realm, but also (gradually) into the White Banner itself. The White Banner being the personal guard for the High Prince Surehand.
That's where the trouble started. Zhan was a smart, fit and very handsome young noble elf. He ended up bouncing through many beds around the noble court – the last bed, belonging to the lovely Mealla Oakforest. Wife of Aithne Oakforest, Prince of the Council and close adviser-friend to High Prince Lugh Surehand. Aithne is considered to have an extremely hot temper, and one of the stubbornest and most dangerous to cross of the Princes.
So, when he returned early from a council meeting, Zhan dove through the first available door in Oakforest's private chamber to hide. Mealla tried to convince her husband that nothing was going on while Zhan sat in a darkened closet. With his pants, reading old letters and paper in boredom while the Oakforests argued. The letters were old, dusty, hand written things almost falling apart. But it was more interesting reading about holiday parties then the domestic squabbles of Oakforest while he waited for a chance to sneak out.
To his horror, the door flew open and he was confronted by Aithne – equally horrified to find the young elven man in his rooms. Zhan was able to use that moment of distraction to get the hell out of dodge – papers flying behind him. But the escape didn't last long, when the booming roar of Aithne through the halls. Summoning Surehand, the White Banner and calling for his blood. So furious his sperithal (elven) had become completely unintelligible, but his intent on having the young noble slain very clear. And there was absolutely no way even his father would be able to save his bacon from Aithne Oakforest in a full rage, with the High Prince beside him. There are no trials in Tir Tairngire if you've made the High Prince mad – you're just dead.
When he saw the people he was being trained by starting to search the palace for him. Credits, his gear and anything else he could grab – including his fathers ring. Bag, motorcycle – get the fuck out of the country as fast as possible. Right by the Tir, Salish and then Seattle border patrols. Hiding in the worst shithole place he can find to avoid problems. The Seattle Barrens.
